1. Get a microwave safe bowl or cup
2. Fill cup with water
3. Put in microwave
4. Set time for 2 minute on high.
5. Carefully remove bowl or cup
6. With a clean rag or durable paper-towel, wipe away all stuck on food.
The steam from the water will loosen up any stuck on food and will make cleaning the microwave a breeze. You may see articles on adding baking soda or vinegar to the water, but I've found this doesn't make cleaning any better.
