Hard Water on Windows

8/22/2017

Eastern Idaho has notoriously bad hard water. If left untreated, hard water will leave a permanent scar on your windows. The affect is known as etching, and no amount of cleaning will be able to remove the etching from the windows.

Ways to avoid permanent window damage is to adjust sprinklers to not hit the windows directly. Get a cover for your basement window wells. If you are noticing a build up get them cleaned as soon as possible.

At Honestly Clean we have a multi stage process for removing hard water. We use specifically designed chemicals to soften the hard water deposits. We then use a customized abrasive pad to remove the hard water from your windows. After as much hard water as possible has been removed, we then clean the windows using a t-bar and squeegee.

Make sure you are hiring a company that has years of experience doing this. It is easy to damage windows while trying to remove hard water if you don't know what you are doing.

Call Honestly Clean today to clean your windows and remove your hard water. We service Idaho falls, Rexburg, Rigby, Shelley, Firth, Island Park, St. Anthony and everywhere in between.
